Day trip to Venice

In 1817, when Lord Byron arrived there, "La Serenissima", the pearl of the Adriatic had already been doomed to failure for centuries. Buildings and foundations still go downhill indeed, but it is still one of the most fascinating cities in general.

Not only tourists were attracted by its charms, but also poets, painters, writers - and many others who wanted to escape from reality.

Many tourists who come to Italy had taken lectures, saw pictures or books about Venice before they arrived there. Visiting Venice becomes a real revelation which exceeds even the boldest expectations.

A full-day tour by a mega yacht from Rovinj to Venice (approximately a 3-hour ride).

A city tour takes about 7 hours. St. Mark's Basilica in the St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace.

Day trip to the Brijuni

Many years ago experts realized that the Brijuni islands are the most beautiful part of the Adriatic coast.

In order to explore the Brijuni tourists should take an excursion boat, as we did.

This way one can fully enjoy in wonderful scenery, sensationally clear and clean water, clean pebble beaches and the hospitality of the Croats.

It takes half an hour by excursion boat from Rovinj to the Brijuni. (Croatian National Park since 1983)

A three-hour (guided) tour of the Brijuni includes a tour of the main island by a small train.

A tour of the ethnographic and archaeological collections and ruins of a Roman palace.

Return to Rovinj late afternoon.
